Introducing Open Matching, a feature designed to enhance the onboarding process and streamline the mentoring experience for users. Open Matching allows Mentees to connect with Mentors immediately after registering on the platform, bypassing the need to enrol in a specific program. Unlike traditional programs that end, open matching is always available, ensuring continuous access to mentoring opportunities. Alongside open matching, we've introduced an improved UI for the registration process to enhance user experience further. These updates aim to significantly improve both the initial user experience and long-term engagement on Guider.
How it works
Registration
When users register on the Guider platform, they gain instant access to the Open Matching feature. If a user is already registered and would like to participate in Open Matching, this option will be accessible through the Programs page on the Guider Platform.
Selecting a Role
A user can select being a Mentor, a Mentee or both.
Setting Skills and Goals
Both Mentors and Mentees choose the skills and goals they aim to improve, achieve, or assist with. At the end of the registration process, Mentees are provided with a list of Mentors best suited to their needs.
Browsing and Matching
Mentees can browse a list of available Mentors within their organisation and initiate connections based on their preferences and Mentoring needs.
