Mentor profiles are visible by default. If you would like to prevent mentees from matching with you, head to your Mentor Profile settings and uncheck the ‘Profile Visibility’ box.

The cap of how many relationships a mentor can have is determined by your program manager. Please check with them if you would like to know your program cap.

You are automatically matched when a mentee connects with you, but you have the ability to conclude relationships if you are unable to mentor someone. You may be unable to mentor them for the following reasons:

You’ve already been matched with someone
You can’t commit to a mentoring relationship at this time
You don’t think you can support them with their improvement areas

Note
Remember: the purpose of the intro call is to see if you’re a good fit, so we encourage you to still speak with the mentee if you are unsure.

Concluding the relationship:

Message the mentee to say thank you for matching, but you are unable to mentor them at this time
Explain that you will conclude the relationship so they can find a new mentor
Click ‘Conclude Relationship’ in the bottom right hand corner
Unlist your profile to other mentees by unchecking the ‘Profile Visibility’ box in your Mentor Profile settings
